Samsung Galaxy S9 Information:

The Samsung Galaxy S9 was announced on February 25 in Barcelona, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The company announced this handset alongside its larger sibling, the Galaxy S9 Plus. The Galaxy S9 is made out of metal and glass, just like its predecessor, and unlike the Galaxy S9 Plus, it sports one camera on its back. Below that camera, the phone features a fingerprint scanner, and a separate, physical Bixby button is also included in the package, it’s located on the left side of the phone, yet again. The Galaxy S9 looks almost identical to the Galaxy S9 Plus, save for the camera difference.

The Galaxy S9 comes in two SoC variants, one variant is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor by Qualcomm, while the other one comes with Samsung’s very own Exynos 9810 64-bit octa-core CPU. The device features a 5.8-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) Super AMOLED Infinity display, while it packs in 4GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage. A 12-megapixel snapper is included on the back of the phone, while a 3,000mAh non-removable battery comes on the inside of this handset as well. The Galaxy S9 is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, while it supports both fast wired and wireless charging. Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Samsung’s Experience UI 9.0.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Editor Rating:

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is quite similar to its predecessor in terms of the design, but it’s a completely new phone on the inside. If you’re looking for a rather compact smartphone, which happens to be one of the best Android flagships out there, well, the Galaxy S9 may be just the right phone for you. This handset does sport a 5.8-inch display, but thanks to its minimal bezels, and a curved display, it’s quite compact, so much so that it’s even usable with one hand. If you’re looking for something similar, but with an even larger display, and more powerful, the Galaxy S9 Plus is also a good choice.
