After this Korean giant launched its flagship Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone, they decided to do something that we weren't expecting. Samsung launched a phablet called Galaxy Note... and it's huge. This thing comes with a 5.3-inch display and a stylus called S Pen, which is a pen that is safely tucked away in your device and when you pull it out it give you all sorts of functionality on your Note device. Other than that, this device resembles the Galaxy S2 a lot, general shape and most of its specifications are the same, there are differences of course.

Galaxy Note sports a 5.3-inch 720p (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED display along with 1GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD card up to 64GB. This phablet is powered by Samsung's Exynos dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz which comes with Mali-400 GPU. 8-megapixel can be found at the back of this device while there's a 2-megapixel shooter located on the front of this device. 2500mAh battery comes with this device as well as Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with Samsung's TouchWiz OS on top of it. The device measures 146.9 x 83 x 9.7mm and weighs 178 grams. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 are also a part of this package.

Samsung decided to do something out of the ordinary here and it remains to be seen how the general public will take this in. I really like what I see here, mobile world is all about innovation and this is surely innovative and out of the ordinary. If you don't mind a large device and want something different, Galaxy Note might be the thing for you. This device offers great performance and I don't doubt it will make lots of people happy campers if they decide to get it.
