OPPO introduced its very first foldable smartphone today, the OPPO Find N. We’ve talked about the device at length in our official announcement, and in this article, we’ll take a closer look at its specs sheet.
The OPPO Find N has a set of truly powerful specifications
Let’s kick things off with the phone’s displays. The main display measures 7.1 inches, and offers a resolution of 1920 x 1792. This is an AMOLED display, and an LTPO panel at that. In other words, it offers an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. This panel is flat, and it offers max brightness of 1,000 nits.
The secondary display on the phone measures 5.49 inches, and this panel offers a resolution of 1972 x 988. This is also an AMOLED display, but an LTPS one, with a 60Hz refresh rate. This display is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus, and it’s curved.
The Snapdragon 888 is paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM
The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, while it includes 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Those two RAM variants come with 256GB and 512GB of storage, respectively. OPPO used LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage here, by the way.
Now, in regards to cameras. There are three on the back, and one on each of the displays, so five overall. The main camera is a 50-megapixel unit (Sony’s IMX766 sensor, All-Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 6P lens, 24mm).
A 16-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX481 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, 52mm) is also located on the back, as is a 13-megapixel telephoto unit (Samsung’s S5K3M5 sensor, f/2.4 aperture, 5P lens, 52mm).
OPPO used two identical 32MP selfie cameras
When it comes to front-facing cameras, OPPO used two identical ones. A 32-megapixel camera with Sony’s IMX615 sensor and an f/2.4 aperture lens is used on both displays.
You will find a 4,500mAh battery inside this smartphone. The device also supports 33W SuperVOOC fast wired charging, and 15W AirVOOC wireless charging (Qi standard). 10W reverse wireless charging can be utilized as well.
This smartphone has a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and it supports 5G connectivity. There are two nano SIM card slots included. Android 11 comes pre-installed, along with ColorOS 12. Bluetooth 5.2 is also included.
It comes in three color variants, and it’s quite compact when folded
The charging cable and brick are included in the box, which is something we cannot say for some other OEMs. The device has been announced in Black, White, and Purple color variants.
The OPPO Find N measures 132.6 x 140.2 x 8mm when unfolded, and 132.6 x 73 x 15.9mm when folded. It weighs 275 grams, in case you were wondering.
