LG V10

LG V10 Information:

The LG V10 is basically the second flagship handset this Korean smartphone OEM has released in 2015. This is a premium offering by LG, it offers top of the line specifications, metal + silicone (Dura Skin) build and a unique 'Secondary Display' which is placed above the regular panel. The main and secondary displays are actually a part of the same panel, but the secondary display has its own backlight controller and display drivers. This panel is here to be always on (if you choose to use it that way), and can be quite handy while you're using your device or when the display is off.

This phablet features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core SoC fuels this phablet, and a 3,000mAh battery is available on the inside. The 16-megapixel OIS shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and is flanked by a dual-LED, dual tone flash and a Laser Autofocus. The 5-megapixel Dual Lens camera (two camera sensors) is located on the front side of this phone, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with LG's UX interface installed on top of Google's operating system. The LG V10 measures 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6mm, while it weighs 192 grams.

LG V10 Editor Rating:

The LG V10 is one of the highest-end smartphones of 2015. This phablet has lots to offer, and if you're looking for an always-on screen, well, you do get it here. LG says that the 'Secondary Display' consumes up to 5% of your phone's overall battery, which is not that much considering you get an always on strip on the top. With such powerful specs, and a secondary display which brings in a level of productivity, this handset sure is interesting, but it's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. If you do want to spend premium cash on a premium device, and get such functionality and great camera as part of the package, LG V10 might be the device for you.
