Huawei Mate S Information:
Huawei Mate S was announced during IFA 2015 in Berlin, as the new member of the company's 'Mate' family of devices. The Mate S is a successor to the Ascend Mate7 phablet which was announced back in 2014, and this time around, this device sports a somewhat smaller display. The Mate S is made out of metal, and the most expensive variant of the device comes with 'Force Touch' display. The device sports high-end specs, and is generally considered to be a premium offering by this China-based smartphone OEM. That being said, let's take a look at the specifications of this device, shall we.
The Mate S features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 32, 64 or 128GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card, up to 128GB). This smartphone is powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 935 octa-core processor which ships with a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel OIS camera is available on the back of this device along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash. The 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front, and a 2,700mAh non-removable battery is also included here. The Mate S also offers a fingerprint scanner on its back, while the 4G LTE connectivity is also available. Huawei Mate S Editor Rating:
Huawei Mate S is yet another solid, high-end offering by Huawei in 2015. This smartphone offers premium build and really solid set of specs, while the 128GB variant of the device also ships with a 'Force Touch' display which opens a whole new way of using this device's display. Huawei consumers will also be familiar with the company's EMUI OS installed on top of Android, and those of you who are not familiar with it, it's somewhat different than stock Android. The bottom line is, if you're in a market for a high-end metallic device which offers really sleek design, this device might be for you. If, on top of all that, you'd also like to have 'Force Touch' at your disposal, the most expensive variant of this smartphone will offer you that as well.
