HTC U11 Information:

The HTC U11 was announced in May 2017, as HTC’s new flagship. The HTC U11 is a direct successor to the HTC 10, though HTC decided to considerably change things around with the U11. The company opted to ditch the all-metal build, and go with glass and metal when it comes to the HTC U11, not to mention that the device offers some rather unique features, such as squeezable phone sides. You can take a picture, launch the camera, and so much more by squeezing the sides of the HTC U11.

The HTC U11 features a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of expandable internal storage. This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it also comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. A 12-megapixel OIS shooter (f/1.7 aperture) is placed on the back of the phone, and the device packs in a 3,000mAh battery on the inside. A headphone jack is not a part of this offering, and the company announced both a single SIM and a dual SIM variant of the HTC U11.

HTC U11 Editor Rating:

The HTC U11 is certainly a risk for HTC, but a risk that a company needed to make in order to try and get back to the right path. The HTC U11 has all the bells and whistles you might want from a flagship phone, though it remains to be seen how well will it sell. The device offers some interesting features, while it also comes with a truly great camera it seems, at least if DxOMark is to be believed. All in all, if you’re not willing to pay the premium for the Galaxy S8, the HTC U11 is certainly a phone you should consider.
