Paramount Plus isn’t for everyone.
There’s only so many streaming services that one person can have, and it’s starting to get out of hand. Now while Paramount Plus likely has a good amount of content for a lot of people, it’s not the end all, be all for everyone. With Paramount Plus, you can cancel your account pretty easily. And if you signed up for the free month trial, you’ll want to do this before the trial is up. Or else you’ll be paying for the first month at $5.99 or $9.99 depending on the plan you chose.
Without further ado, here’s how you can cancel your account.
How To Cancel A Paramount Plus Subscription
Before we get started here, it’s important to note that similar to CBS All Access, you will need to cancel your Paramount Plus subscription on the same platform you started it. So if you signed up on its website, you will need to head to its website to cancel. Vice versa if you used the app.
Sign in, if you aren’t already signed in.
Tap on your name in the upper right-hand corner.
Then tap on Account.
In the “Subscription & Billing” section, you will see “Cancel Subscription” at the bottom. Click on that.
It’ll take you to a confirmation page, so click yes that you are sure you want to cancel.
And click the white button with blue text that says “Yes, cancel”.
And now your subscription is cancelled. Keep in mind that your subscription will be active until your billing date. So if you signed up for the free trial, you can cancel right away, and once the free month is up, it’ll be cancelled and you won’t be charged then. That’s a great way to not forget to cancel Paramount Plus after the free trial.
