Today, Google announced the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, and they also go up for pre-order today.
The Pixel 6 will start at $599, with the Pixel 6 Pro starting at $899. Which are pretty incredible prices for these phones, considering most flagship phones start at around $800, or more.
But in the US, you’ll find some more great deals on the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro. So you likely will be paying even less for your new Pixel smartphone. In this post, you’ll find out what each carrier is offering for the Pixel 6, as well as retailers, so you can find the best place to buy your new Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro.
Over AT&T, they are offering up to %200 off of the Google Pixel 6, without any trade-in needed. If you’re looking for the Pixel 6 Pro, then you can get up to $700 off, with an eligible trade-in.
On top of that, customers that purchase the Google Pixel 6 (or Pixel 6 Pro) can get 50% off of Google branded accessories. That includes things like the Pixel Buds A-series.
Best Buy isn’t offering much of a deal here, basically if you buy either the Pixel 6 or the Pixel 6 Pro, you will get the Pixel Buds A-series for free. That is a $99 value. But not as insane as some of the trade-in deals that the carriers are doing.
You can purchase the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from the Google Store. It sells the unlocked variant, as well as Verizon and one for Google Fi.
Unfortunately, if you want one specific to AT&T or T-Mobile you’ll need to go through them. But the unlocked model will still work on both of those carriers.
If you purchase the Verizon variant through Google, you can get up to $700 off with an eligible trade-in, and $100 in Google Store credit (Pixel 6 only).
You can also pre-order the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from Target, and they will give you a pair of Pixel Buds A-series for free. That’s a $99 value. And not a bad add-on for a pre-order.
Pre-order links are not yet live for Target, but will be soon.
T-Mobile will give you the Pixel 6 for “free” with trade-in and if you’re on the Magenta Max plan. For the Pixel 6 Pro, you’ll get up to $900 off with trade-in. And again, on the Magenta Max plan. These are pretty good promos, though you do need to be on its most expensive plan. Which may not be feasible for everyone.
Verizon will give you up to $700 off when you trade-in your current smartphone and switch. So you can get the Pixel 6 for free – Verizon is charging $699 for it. Or you can get a Pixel 6 Pro for as low as $199 with eligible trade-in. Which is not bad at all.
Verizon is also going to give new customers up to $500 to help cover the cost of switching over to Verizon.
For existing customers, you get an okay deal, but not as great as new customers. You’ll get up to $350 towards the Pixel 6 with select trade-ins and select Unlimited plans.
