Verizon Fios is making it really enticing to make the switch to its fiber Gigabit internet. Its Gigabit Internet is only $79.99, which makes it much cheaper than a lot of the competition right now anyways.
Verizon Fios offers three plans, 200Mpbs, 400Mbps and Gigabit Connection. Of course, being the tech geeks that we are, we recommend the Gigabit Connection plan. It’s also really good for those with larger households, as you’ll be able to have more devices connected without the internet slowing down.
With all three of these plans, Verizon Fios is offering some sweet freebies. You can get PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now for 12 months or choose the $100 Verizon Gift card instead. The PS+ and PS Now bundle is actually a better deal – it’s worth more – than the gift card. You can also bundle it with Verizon’s Unlimited Wireless plans save $10 per month, or $20 on the Gigabit plan.
On the cheaper 200Mbps plan, you can get an Amazon Echo Dot and the Smart Plug for free. This plan is $39.99 per month, which is pretty impressive for the speed. Since this is fiber, it’s 200Mbps down and up.
The middle-of-the-road plan gets you 400Mbps up and down, and it’s $59.99 per month. You’ll also get the Amazon Echo Show 5 for free.
Then there is the Gigabit Connection which is 940Mbps down and 880Mbps up. It costs $79.99 per month. It comes with the Amazon Echo Show 5 and the Ring Stick Up Cam. But that’s not all, you also get a Stream TV for free, and the router rental fee is included. That makes the Gigabit plan an absolute steal.
Now there is a caveat to Verizon Fios. And that’s availability. It’s only available in nine states, mostly along the east coast. So before you think about switching, you’d better check out the Verizon Fios Availability page here.
