- iRobot Roomba j7 – $349 (reg. $599)
- iRobot Roomba Combo j7+ – $899 (reg. $1,099)
Some of the more notable options in this list is the Roomba 692 and the Roomba Combo j7+. Not just because they represent the cheapest and most expensive, but because everything else kinda falls in between. The Roomba 692 is an older vacuum, but still performs really well. It has iRobot’s patented 3-stage cleaning system, it also has navigation, and voice support from Alexa and Google Assistant.
Now when it comes to the Roomba Combo j7+, it’s a beast. This is the first, and so far only, iRobot vacuum that can also mop. It basically takes everything that we know and love from the Roomba j7+, and adds a mop to it. So it still has the camera and light on the front to help with navigation and avoiding objects. It also has the two rubber brushes on the bottom for getting close to the ground and picking up everything. As well as the auto-empty dock. Now, unfortunately the dock can only empty the dustbin and not refill the water reservoir like some of its competitors.
With the Roomba Combo j7+, iRobot wanted to lift the mop up completely, when vacuuming carpet. So it does. The mop is lifted up over the robot vacuum, and sits on the back, of the top of the vacuum. So it won’t get your carpets wet.
