Amazon has officially announced Prime Day, and has also kicked off a number of promos in the lead up to the big day. Prime Day is happening on October 13-14, and they will give you $10 to spend on Prime Day. But there is a small catch.
You need to spend at least $10 from select small businesses between today and October 12, to get the free $10 from Amazon. That's pretty easy, but it is limited to some products. And you'll be supporting small businesses, so it's a win/win.
This page will highlight all of the brands and products that are part of this promo. So you can make sure to take advantage.
It's like free money from Amazon, which doesn't happen often. It's really great if you are looking to pick up a few things from these companies already, as you'll get some money to spend on Prime Day too.
This promo works in a lot of different categories, including: home & kitchen, jewelry, pet supplies, groceries, electronics and much more. There are also some handmade goods available, and those would make some great gifts. Remember, the holiday season is right around the corner.
Of course, you will need to be a Prime member to take advantage of this deal. If you are not a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial here. And if you're a student, that becomes a six-month free trial. Additionally, you can also cancel before the trial is up, and take advantage of Prime Day without paying for Prime.
Once you have made your qualifying purchase, you will get an email (closer to Prime Day) noting that you have received your credit. It will be in your account and can be used on anything purchased on Prime Day. But remember, you have to use it on Prime Day – that's October 13 and October 14. So make sure you don't forget and it expires.
