Those of you who have been waiting for the Pixel Fold to launch are probably wondering about its availability. The Pixel Fold won’t exactly be widely available, as Google decided to offer the phone in only four countries… well, at least at first.

The Pixel Fold availability is quite limited, it’s on offer in only four countries

The Google Pixel Fold is available in the US, Germany, Japan, and the UK only. Google could, of course, expand its availability at some point, but for now, these are the only countries it will be available in.

Truth be said, if the phone does end up on Amazon in Germany, consumers from within the EU will be able to buy it without a problem. So, it will kind of be available in Europe too, at least within the EU.

The Pixel Fold is priced at $1,799 in the US, for the 256GB storage option. The variant with more storage, 512GB worth of it, is priced at $1,919. The price tags are a bit higher in other markets, though.

Google has been planning this launch for quite some time now. It’s kind of an important one, as this is the company’s very first foldable device. Not only Google’s first book-style foldable, but a foldable phone in general.

Google seemingly gained inspiration from the OPPO Find N2

The Pixel Fold seemingly gained inspiration from the OPPO Find N2, more than it did from the Galaxy Z Fold series. It leans towards the horizontal layout. It’s quite short in comparison to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 (because of its orientation). It is wide when folded, though.

Google’s Tensor G2 SoC fuels this phone, while Android 13 comes pre-installed. The device has two 120Hz displays, both of which are more than sharp enough. Fast wired charging is included, as is wireless charging.

There are three cameras on the back of the phone, one above the main display, and one within the second display (hole punch). There’s a lot more to unpack here, so click here if you’d like to know more about its specifications.
