Motorola initially released a list of phones getting Android 13 back in August. It included only 10 devices on that list, which is not a whole lot. Well, the company has now decided to expand that list.
Motorola has expanded its list of phones which are getting Android 13 update
To be more accurate, Motorola actually doubled the number of devices getting the Android 13 update. From the initial 10 devices, we now have 20 on it. Motorola’s employee notified users in forums about the change.
Many users have been asking for Android 13 updates in the forums, and many of them own devices that were not included on the list initially. That may have something to do with the change, we’ll never know.
The list now includes the following phones:
- Motorola Razr (2022)
- Motorola Edge 30 Ultra
- Motorola Edge 30 Pro
- Motorola Edge+ 5G UW (2022)
- Motorola Edge 30 Fusion
- Motorola Edge 30 Neo
- Motorola Edge 30
- Motorola Edge (2022)
- Motorola Edge 20 Pro
- Motorola Edge 20
- Motorola Edge (2021)
- Motorola Edge 20 Lite
- Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022)
- Motorola Moto G 5G
- Motorola Moto G82 5G
- Motorola Moto G72
- Motorola Moto G62 5G
- Motorola Moto G52
- Motorola Moto G42
- Motorola Moto G32
The company’s employee also added that “select devices” will start getting the update in “early 2023”. He did not share any additional info. So, not only do we not know which devices, but we don’t know when exactly.
It will take the company quite some time to update all of these
It will probably take Motorola quite a bit of time to deliver Android 13 to all the devices on this list. The first devices to start getting the update will almost certainly be the newest and most powerful ones. That’s, at least, some sort of a guideline.
So, in other words, we’re expecting the update to arrive to the Motorola Razr (2022) Motorola Edge 30, 30 Ultra, 30 Pro, and a number of other devices first.
