The OnePlus Nord Watch is official today. The company has been teasing the new smartwatch for the past couple of weeks, revealing its key specs bit by bit. It has finally taken wraps off the wearable‘s pricing and availability details. But let’s recap the specs first.

The company has used hypoallergenic material on the body and strap, allowing for comfortable and irritation-free wear.
OnePlus is offering a collection of over 100 downloadable watch faces for the Nord Watch, so you can customize the dial background as per your interest or mood. You also get 105 sports and activity modes with an optimized system for various measuring various activity data and metrics. The Nord Watch lets you track everything from walking, running, skipping, climbing, and sports such as yoga, cricket, and football. Thanks to its IP68 rating, the wearable is good for use in rain or a pool. OnePlus claims the device is tested to survive everyday drops and falls.
The OnePlus Nord Watch can also keep track of your health. It can measure your heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress, and sleep. For women, it has a menstrual cycle track as well. The watch sends you discreet reminders about your period. All health and activity data can be accessed on a smartphone via the N Health app. The app also lets you control music on the phone or use it as a remote shutter for the phone’s camera. All this with a promised battery life of up to 10 days on typical usage and 30 days on standby.
Note that this Oneplus smartwatch doesn’t run on Wear OS. Instead, it is powered by the company’s in-house software. OnePlus also doesn’t mention the processor details. The first-gen OnePlus Watch didn’t set a promising precedent for the company’s smartwatches. It is now looking to turn things around with an affordable offering under the Nord sub-brand.
