The Motorola Edge 2022 is now available for purchase in the US. Launched a couple of weeks back, T-Mobile is selling the new Motorola mid-ranger stateside. The Lenovo-owned brand has priced the phone at $498 but the carrier is offering it for free if you sign up with a qualifying line.
T-Mobile offers multiple phone plans with varying services and perks. The flagship Magenta Max plan starts at $85 per month for a single line but you get three lines for just $140 per month, with tax and fees included. It includes unlimited premium 5G data, 40GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data, Wi-Fi calling, international roaming, in-flight internet, 4K UHD video streaming, and a free subscription to Netflix, Apple TV+, and Paramount+. Of course, unlimited calls and texts, spam protection, and access to T-Mobile Tuesdays giveaways are standard across all phone plans.
If you add a new line to Magenta Max or other qualifying T-Mobile phone plans, you can get the Motorola Edge 2022 for free. The carrier will cover the phone’s cost in 24 monthly bill credits ($20.75 per month). Of course, you also have the option to pay the full price for it without adding a new line.
