This fitness tracker does resemble the last one Xiaomi announced, but it comes with a number of improvements, of course. It has a ton of sports modes, and excellent battery life, and it is once again extremely affordable.
The Xiaomi Band 7 goes global with over 110 sports modes, and much more
Xiaomi’s latest fitness tracker features a 1.62-inch HD (192 x 490) AMOLED display with a 2.5D glass on top of it. This panel is touch-sensitive, and we’re looking at a PPI of around 326. The display gets up to 500 nits of brightness.
Bluetooth 5.2 is supported on the device, while the Band 7 supports both Android (6.0+) and iOS (10.0+). You will find an optical heart rate sensor on the device, and the same goes for a blood oxygen sensor. Xiaomi also included a six-axis motion sensor here.
The Band 7 is 5 ATM rated, which essentially means you can go diving with it up to 50 meters. There are over 110 workout modes included, and 5 of them can be automatically detected by the device. Those are outdoor running, walking, treadmill, rowing machine, and elliptical.
It supports continuous heart rate tracking & continuous blood oxygen saturation monitoring
The device does offer continuous heart rate tracking, continuous blood oxygen saturation monitoring, and 24/7 sleep tracking. Female health tracking is also a part of the package.
Xiaomi included over 100 new band faces on the device, with AOD support. A 180mAh battery can be found on the inside, and it offers great battery life, up to 14 days with typical usage. It will take around 2 hours to fully charge, though. With the included charging cradle.
The band is made out of TPU, though its buckle offers a more premium build, as it’s made out of aluminum. The wrist trap aka band is adjustable between 160 and 224mm.
The Xiaomi Band 7 offers smart controls, including music control, remote camera control, incoming call alerts, and quick message reply, to name a few.
The Xiaomi Band 7 wrist straps come in a ton of different colors
The device measures 46.5 x 20.7 x 12.25mm, and weighs 13.5 grams. The Xiaomi Band 7 wrist straps come in Ivory, Olive, Orange, Blue, Black, Pink, Neon Green, Neon Orange, Khaki Green, and Khaki Blue colors. The last four are new, they haven’t been available for the previous version. The Band 7 itself is black-colored.
The Xiaomi Band 7 is priced at €49.9 ($52.4), and it will become available via official Xiaomi partners and the company itself, soon.
