If you’re looking for a slightly different note-taking app, maybe flomo Notes is right for you. This is a simplistic note-taking application that may appeal to some of you.
Flomo Notes app is actually inspired by Twitter
This app is actually inspired by Twitter, or so it would seem. In the app description, Twitter is referenced. The developer says “Easy typing like Twitter”. When you open the app, you’ll realize what he means by that.
On the main page, you’ll see an empty “What’s on your mind?” field at the bottom. Just like on Twitter, all you have to do is type in your note, and click send. Once you do that, it will pop up at the top of your notes, along with the date and time.
It does give us that Twitter feel, and some of you may actually appreciate this. The app is rather simple through and through. You can’t exactly color-code your notes, or do anything of the sort.
The app does sync across platforms, though, though you can opt to not log in at all. You can access it via Android, iOS, Web, MAC, and PWA. It also allows for use of tags, while it does not come with ads or anything of the sort.
The developer also notes that all content is only visible to you, and that all data transfers are encrypted. It also vows not to share or sell your personal data. Flomo Notes’ database is also backed up in real-time, to ensure you don’t lose any data.
The app includes rather useful widgets
The app also comes with useful widgets. There is this small one that is especially useful, the “What’s on your mind?” one. Tapping it will allow you to start taking a note immediately, saving you time.
If you tend to jot down things frequently, either short notes, or something a bit longer, this app may interest you. We’ve included some official screenshots below, while you can check out the app yourself by tapping the download link/button below.
