Xiaomi’s Redmi has announced some new ‘Redmi’ and ‘Redmi Note’ smartphones, one of which is quite powerful, and offers 120W charging, a 108-megapixel camera, and much more.
The devices in question are the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 11S 5G, and Redmi 10 5G. The differences between those three phones are quite considerable, so we’ll talk about each of them separately.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 11S 5G do look quite similar, but the Redmi 10 5G is easily separated. It includes a waterdrop display notch, a thicker bottom bezel, and a different rear camera module.
That being said, let’s talk about some specs, starting with the most powerful handset on offer, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G
This is the most powerful of the three mid-range phones on offer here. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. The phone features a 6.67-inch fullHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate.
A 4,500mAh battery is included in the mix, and the device supports 120W wired charging. A 120W charger is also included in the box. This phone comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The 6GB RAM model comes with 128GB of storage, while the 8GB RAM variant is available in both 128GB and 256GB storage options.
A 108-megapixel main camera sits on the back, alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A single 16-megapixel camera is placed on the front side of this phone. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package, and so is facial scanning.
It features super linear dual speakers, backed by JBL. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included here, as is Dolby Atmos support.
What’s interesting is that this phone comes with MIUI 12.5 out of the box, while the other two devices ship with MIUI 13. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G comes in Graphite Gray, Star Blue, and Forest Green colors. The phone measures 163.65 x 76.19 x 8.34mm, and weighs 204 grams. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G starts at $369.
Redmi Note 11S
The Redmi Note 11S is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. It features a 6.6-inch fullHD+ DotDisplay which offers a 90Hz refresh rate. This phone comes in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM models. The 4GB RAM model comes in 64GB and 128GB storage options, while the 6GB RAM variant is available with 128GB of storage only.
This smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery on the inside, and it supports 33W wired charging. It includes a 33W charger in the box. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is included here as well, and facial scanning is supported.
MIUI 13 comes pre-installed on the phone, while you’ll find two speakers on the device. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also a part of the package, as is an X-axis linear motor.
A 50-megapixel main camera is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel telemacro camera. A single 13-megapixel shooter sits on the front side of the phone.

Redmi 10 5G
The Redmi 10 5G is the most affordable device here. It includes the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, and comes with 4GB of RAM. You can choose between 64GB and 128GB of storage, though.
The device features a 6.58-inch fullHD+ Dot Drop display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included inside this phone as well, but the device has only one speaker.
MIUI 13 comes pre-installed on the Redmi 10 5G, while the device does feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and supports facial scanning.
A 50-megapixel main camera sits on the back, along with a 2-megapixel depth camera. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is also a part of this package.
