Xiaomi 12 Pro Benchmark Leak Hints At Approaching Release

Since it’s the beginning of the year, we’re all getting ready for the phones that are going to launch over the next 12 months. The recently announced that the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro were initially released in China. Thanks to GSM Arena, we got some news that gives us hope for an eventual international release.

The Benchmarks for the Xiaomi 12 Pro got leaked

Xiaomi has been giving us some interesting and powerful phones over the years, and the next iteration in its main series of phones looks to follow that trend. This is the first year that Xiaomi is dropping the “Mi” branding outside of China. It’s simply named the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Since the Xiaomi 12 Pro is a flagship device, it’s no surprise that it has high benchmark scores. While Benchmark scores aren’t an objective analysis of how a phone will perform, they’re still interesting to have a look at.


The Xiaomi 12 Pro got a single-core score of 1145 and a multi-core score of 3578. This is on par with most flagship smartphones and it goes higher than some of the most powerful Android phones out there. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra scored a single-core score of 923 and a multi-core score of 3072.

The world is waiting for these phones to release

Since Xiaomi is a Chinese company, it’s no surprise that the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro launched in China first. While this is true, the rest of the world is waiting on an international release. This newly leaked information lets us know that an international release might be happening sometime soon.

Along with the benchmark scores, we also got the Xiaomi 12 Pro’s FCC ID. This page gives us a bunch of information about the device in terms of communication technology. It’s become a bit of a trend to release three variants of a phone. A good example would be the Galaxy S21, S21+, and the S21 Ultra. We all speculated that Xiaomi was going to do the same thing with the Xiaomi 12 phones. Instead, rumor has it that the company will release two MIX 5 phones.

Right now, we have no information on what these new phones will be or how they’re going to perform. Right now, we’re all waiting on an international release for the Xiaomi 12 phones.
