The Samsung Galaxy S22+ renders have surfaced, along with some additional info. If you take a look at the gallery below the article, you’ll see the aforementioned renders. These are provided by 91mobiles, in collaboration with Ishan Agarwal.
The Galaxy S22+ renders have leaked, along with some SoC info & more
This is not the first time we’re seeing this phone, as it leaked before, as you can see in our Galaxy S22+ preview. The phone will resemble its predecessor, and the Galaxy S22 will look similar to it, but it will be smaller.
The device will include a centered display camera hole, and a flat display. Its bezels will be thin, while it will include three cameras on the back. The camera housing will protrude from the frame, similar to what the Galaxy S21 series offered.
The source also says that Samsung will utilize the Exynos 2200 in many markets, that it’s far from canceled. For example, the Galaxy S22+ (and its siblings) will utilize the Exynos 2200 in the UK.
The Exynos 2200 will probably be utilized in Europe
He did not mention the rest of Europe, but if we had to guess, we’d say that the Exynos 2200 will be used there as well. European flagship Galaxy units were at a disadvantage thanks to Exynos chips in the past, let’s hope that the Exynos 2200 will be a different story.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will almost certainly be included in the US variants, but nothing has been confirmed. Either way, we may get a similar SoC distribution to what we’ve seen in the past.
The Galaxy S22+ will feature an extremely bright display. Its peak brightness will be at 1,750 nits, which is just insane. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to get the same display treatment in that regard.
A 4,500mAh battery was also mentioned, and the same goes for 45W charging. It seems like the Galaxy S22 Ultra is not the only one that will support 45W charging. A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera was also mentioned for the device.
