Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300 price & specifications

The Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300 sports a familiar design: a futuristic stealth aircraft-like body that we have seen previously from the company. It supports Wi-Fi 6E devices and is compatible with the new 6GHz band, as well as 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Netgear promises a combined Wi-Fi speed of up to 7.8Gbps — 2.4Gbps, 4.8Gbps, and 600Mbps over the three bands respectively.

The new router features six antennas in its wings as well as eight Wi-Fi streams — two streams of 2.4GHz, four streams of 5GHz, and two more streams of 6GHz. This ensures strong signal strength and coverage for up to 40 devices. The company is claiming 2,500 square feet of high-speed Wi-Fi coverage from the Nighthawk RAXE300. The device also features six Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports to connect other devices and IoT (Internet of Things) hubs in your home. You get two-port LAN aggregation as well. You also have one USB 3.0 Type-C port for network storage.

The Nighthawk RAXE300 features a quad-core 1.7GHz processor and supports VPN and WPA3, the latest Wi-Fi security protocol. It will cost $399.99 and will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2022. Netgear promises automatic firmware updates to deliver the latest security patches to the router.
