Galaxy S20 FE will receive one more Android OS update

Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE in late 2020 as an affordable flagship offering. The phone did well in the market, well enough to warrant a succeeding model this year. The company has been giving it a flagship treatment, rolling out monthly security patches as well as timely Android OS updates. Perhaps as much importance as the regular Galaxy S20 models.

Launched with Android 10 onboard, the Galaxy S20 FE received the Android 11 update early last year. The Android 12 update is now rolling out to the phone in the US alongside its pricier siblings. Going forward, all Galaxy S20 models will receive at least one more Android OS update in their lifetime, i.e. Android 13.
