ESPN+ is going to be airing a four-episode limited series called ‘Inside the College Football Playoffs’ with the first episode set to debut tomorrow, December 23. It’s going to be exclusively on ESPN+, so if you do not subscribe to ESPN+ already, now is a good time to do so.

This is part of a push for ESPN to add more original content to ESPN+. Since most of the live sports are on ESPN, as well as other cable channels, and not available for ESPN+. With the price increase earlier this year, ESPN+ desperately needs more original content, to keep people on the service. Since ESPN has the rights to the College Football Playoff, as well as almost all of the other bowl games (41 out of 44 bowl games will air on ESPN’s networks), it’s a good way to take advantage of it.

This year, Alabama, Michigan, Georgia and Cincinnati have places in the College Football Playoff. With Alabama being the number one seed and taking on Cincinnati on New Year’s Eve. Michigan is the number two seed and taking on Georgia, also on New Year’s Eve. The winners of those two games will meet in Indianapolis on January 10 for the National Championship. The same location where Michigan won the Big Ten title earlier this month.

When will these episodes air?

Unlike Netflix, ESPN+ won’t be airing these episodes all on the same day. But that is also because ESPN+ will be doing these episodes before the semifinals, after the semifinals, and before the National Championship game on January 10, 2022. Here’s the air dates and synposis for each episode.

Episode 1
