Razer makes a lot of great gaming gear, but one of its best pieces of hardware is the Raptor gaming monitor, and Amazon has a deal on it that has dropped the price drastically.
Normally this goes for $699. Which is, a lot, but it’s not the most expensive gaming monitor out there. In fact, Samsung’s Odyssey G9 monitors, both of which are on sale for Black Friday as well, are much more expensive. As for the Razer Raptor, the deal on Amazon today brings the price down to $499. A discount of $200 and the cheapest price this has ever been.
If you don’t need a larger monitor with an ultrawide format, there aren’t many options better than this one. That isn’t to say that there aren’t more really good gaming monitors. The Razer Raptor is just an excellent monitor for gaming. It’s thoughtful design, fast refresh rate, and ever popular Chroma RGB lighting collectively make this a top-notch piece of hardware.
Its nearly borderless display is also not bad to look at. For those wondering, this is a 27-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate. Razer makes a 165Hz version too, but that one isn’t on sale. Refresh rate aside, the Raptor has a built-in cable management system that secures the cables for the display behind the screen. Razer even includes the cables as those are built-in too.
Plus, the monitor has an adjustable base that can tilt 90-degrees and can be raised or lowered to account for height. And if you don’t want to use the base, you can unhook the display and use a VESA mount (not included with the monitor).
If you need a new monitor and have a spare $500, this is the monitor you want. Definitely don’t let this deal pass you up.
