If you are the owner of unlocked variants of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 or the Galaxy Z Flip, then you are in for a treat. Because Samsung has released a new security update for both models.

Apart from introducing some of the best Android phones in the market, Samsung has also built its name to be a brand that releases regular software updates for its devices.

Though it has to maintain a huge portfolio of devices ranging from budget to ultra-premium category, Samsung never fails to impress with its regular software update rollouts.

It bumps the security patch level to August 1, 2021. Samsung notes that this new update fixes more than 40 vulnerabilities related to privacy and security.

The good thing is you can manually check for it by heading over to the Settings menu. Then select the System Update option and click Download and Install.

If a new update is live for your unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 2 or unlocked Galaxy Z Flip, then you can tap on the notification and the download will begin. As of now, the size of the update is not known yet.
