If you don’t think your gaming setup is pretty enough, Vertagear and Swarovski have you covered with a new gaming chair. The two companies have announced their collaboration to release a newly joint-designed Vertagear gaming chair that is covered with Swarovski crystals.
Officially the name of the new chair model is the PL4500 Crystals from Swarovski. As it’s based on the normal PL4500 series chairs. Vertagear’s normal PL4500 is already a little on the spendy side. Retailing for $490. But you’re going to have to pay a tiny bit more if you want the Swarvoski model. Because it retails for $600. It’s no small price to pay. Especially when you can pick up the Razer Iskur for less, which also comes with the built-in lumbar support. But, that chair doesn’t have the crystals.
The Vertagear Swarovski gaming chair supports the same upgrades as the PL4500
You do still get the same customization options you’d get from the standard model. Which is probably a good thing for those that really want to go all out.
That means you get the HygennX Coffee fiber technology in the fabric of the chair. As well as the RGB kits that can be attached to the chair for an upgraded look and little more of a gamer aesthetic. Naturally the RGB kits will cost extra. How much extra? Quite a bit. As it turns out. Specifically, you’re looking at $300 for the RGB top upgrade on the PL4500 model. And another $300 if you want the RGB kit for the chair’s base.
So by the time you’re done, your $600 chair turns into a $1,200 chair. But, that’s the price of luxury if you want a gaming chair that’s decked out with this much style and pizazz.
Vertagear will begin selling the chair today
With or without the RGB upgrade kits, if you want this chair as part of your setup, you can pre-order starting today at the Vertagear website. As mentioned above the price of the chair is $600, but keep in mind this is only the pre-order start time.
Vertagear doesn’t say anything about when the chairs will ship. So official launch times are unclear at the time of writing. If that doesn’t bother you, pre-orders should be live so you can place your order and get the ball rolling.
