It’s been a little while since a high-profile phone has launched, the last big one was really the OnePlus 9 – and that was in March. But that’s about to change, as Samsung has just announced the date for its next Unpacked event. And that will be August 11.

On August 11 at 10AM EDT, Samsung will debut a few new products. Judging by the invite, it looks like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will debut at this event. And given the fact that Samsung stated last month at MWC, that it would debut its next smartwatch at “an Unpacked event later this summer”, it’s safe to say the Galaxy Watch 4 is coming too.

Unpacked will once again be a virtual only event. And it seems like Samsung has learned from its first virtual event last year for the Galaxy Note 20 series, and has really improved it. Though we’ll see on August 11 if that is true.

You Can Reserve your next Galaxy Smartphone now

Even before the new devices get announced next month, you can reserve yours now. While Samsung is not saying what benefits you’ll get by doing this, we do know that you’ll get increased trade-in credit and 12 months of Samsung Care+ at a discounted rate. And given the huge trade-in credits Samsung typically offers at launch, this is a big deal, and definitely worth hitting up the Reserve Now page.

Typically, Samsung will open pre-orders the day of, or the next-day. So you’ll be able to order your new foldable smartphone pretty quickly. And it’ll likely ship within a few weeks as usual. Though keep in mind that there is the global chip shortage, so there is a possibility that things can get delayed and delayed quickly. Even though Samsung makes their own chips, unlike most of its competitors.
