Official OnePlus Nord 2 image confirms familiar design
As you can see, its cameras will be placed in the top-left corner, as CAD renders suggested. The cameras will be vertically aligned, while an LED flash will sit next to the bottom camera. That’s a small difference in comparison with the OnePlus 9, where an LED flash is placed higher to the right.
This also confirms that the phone’s back side will curve into the sides, and that the volume up and down buttons will sit on the left, as expected. That means that both the power / lock button, and an alert slider will sit on the right.
For those of you who missed the memo, the OnePlus Nord 2 will become official on July 22. The company also confirmed that it will arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. We also know that a 90Hz fullHD+ AMOLED display will be a part of the package.
The phone will feature four cameras overall
Now, OnePlus still hasn’t confirmed what cameras can we expect, but that information did leak. The OnePlus Nord 2 will allegedly ship with a 50-megapixel main camera, backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper. A 2-megapixel unit will also sit on the back. A 32-megapixel camera is expected to be included on the front.
Android 11 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS 11 skin. You can also expect a 4,500mAh battery on the inside, and 65W fast wired charging. Wireless charging probably won’t be included.
OnePlus will announce both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants of this phone, by the way. The device will be a bit more expensive than the OnePlus Nord, but it will bring some notable improvements.
