The OnePlus Nord 2 appears on Geekbench with 12GB of RAM & Android 11
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is also mentioned here, but indirectly. We do know that the phone will be fueled by that SoC, though, as the company confirmed as much.
This listing also mentions Android 11, which will come pre-installed on the phone. OnePlus’ OxygenOS 11 skin will be included on top of Google’s operating system, though.
Now, you shouldn’t pay too much attention to the benchmarking results here. This is a pre-production model and everything. We’ll just mention the results real quick. The phone was able to hit 802 points in the single-core, and 2,687 in the multi-core test.
Based on previous information, the OnePlus Nord 2’s 8GB RAM model will include 128GB of storage. The 12GB RAM variant, that was mentioned on Geekbench, will allegedly come with 256GB of storage.
The phone will include a 90Hz display, and a compelling main camera
The device is expected to include a 6.43-inch fullHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera will be its primary shooter, the same unit used by the OnePlus 9 series, as an ultra-wide unit.
A 4,500mAh battery will also be included in the package, and the phone will support 65W fast charging. This handset will arrive in Gray Sierra and Blue Haze color base variants. A special model with a leather back will also launch, though, and it will be called the Green Woods OnePlus Nord 2.
The OnePlus Nord 2 will be an improvement in almost every way. In some areas, it will be quite a notable improvement. All in all, the Nord 2 is shaping up to be quite a compelling smartphone.
