Leaked renders reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 3 design & color variants
This is definitely the best look at the Galaxy Z Fold 3 we got thus far. The phone looks exactly like we expected. It is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2, but polished a bit more, without a display camera hole on the main display.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be made out of metal and glass, and include an under-display camera on the main display. It will become Samsung’s first smartphone to offer such a camera.
A display camera hole will be included on the secondary display, though, and it will be centered at the top. The phone will also include three cameras on the back, which will be vertically aligned, and protrude a bit.
The hinge will be hidden when the device is unfolded, while an LED flash will sit below the phone’s rear-facing cameras.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is shown in three color options here, in black, navy green, and gradient pinkish. All three of those colors seem to offer a matte finish, though we can’t be sure.
A fingerprint scanner will be included on the side
A fingerprint scanner is placed on the right-hand side of the phone, along with a volume rocker. A SIM card tray sits on the left-hand side. At the bottom Samsung will include a Type-C USB port, and the main speaker.
This handset is expected to include a 7.55-inch main display, with a 6.23-inch secondary panel. It is said to support an S Pen stylus, and it could even be bundled with the device.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to be a bit more affordable than the Galaxy Z Fold 2 was at launch. The device will launch in early August, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Watch 4 series. If you’d like to know more about it, read our preview.
