The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to be more affordable than its predecessor. Several reports surfaced to claim that already, and a new one just appeared in South Korea. Naver says that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have a rather appealing price, “slightly lower” than the Z Fold 2.
This report also mentions that a 512GB storage option is coming, though it did not specify to what regions. It also says that color options will differ from one country to the next, which is to be expected.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 price will be “slightly lower” compared to its predecessor
Now, this report didn’t say that the price will be a lot lower, but only “slightly lower”. That kind of clashes with previous reports, which said that Samsung is planning to shave off quite a bit of cash off the price.
It remains to be seen what report is accurate, but it’s possible this one is. Samsung will probably be able to lower the price a bit, but there’s some new tech included in this device.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to feature an under-display camera. On top of that, it’s expected to ship with an S Pen stylus. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will become the company’s first foldable to support an S Pen.
Samsung is making a special S Pen for the Z Fold 3
Samsung is, allegedly, making a special S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Why? Well, its display is not as durable as the ones on regular smartphones, so the company had to make a different S Pen for it.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is tipped to launch on August 3. It will become available at the end of August, if reports are true. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 will launch alongside it, and the same goes for the Watch 4 and Watch Active 4.
The Galaxy S21 FE launch has been postponed, according to reports. We’re not sure when will that device become official.
