Another day, another leak of the Galaxy Watch 4. However this one is a pretty big one. We have pictures, thanks to 91Mobiles that show off all of the colors of the upcoming smartwatch. Which many are thinking will be announced next week at Samsung’s MWC virtual event.
As we can see from the images below, it appears that the Galaxy Watch 4 is going to be available in five different colors. With the casing being available in three colors. It’s likely that Samsung will allow you to customize the two to your liking, similar to the hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
We can see that the bands will be available in white, green, blue, pink and yellow. The the cases in silver, gold and olive green. Keep in mind that there could be more colors. These are just the colors that we see in this set of images.
Samsung is channeling their inner iPhone 12
Samsung appears to be using a design feature from the iPhone 12 that was released last year. Where the case is actually flat, like the iPhone 12. This gives the Galaxy Watch 4 a rather unique look, and keeps it from being super bulky too.
But there is one thing missing here that many Galaxy Watch users are going to be upset about – the rotating bezel. Now it is possible and very likely that Samsung will include a software-based rotating bezel like the Active watches offer. But the rumors point to Samsung offering a model with the rotating bezel and one without. So this might be the cheaper model.
The Galaxy Watch 4 is likely going to be the first watch with the new co-developed wearable platform with Google. Many expect that we will hear more about that at MWC next week, but we don’t know for sure yet. It’s a pretty interesting development for Samsung, since it had been using Tizen for years on its smartwatches. Now it’s working with Google on Wear OS.
We’ll definitely be hearing more about the Galaxy Watch 4 in the very near future.
