Paway is a rather interesting app that you get from the Play Store. The company, with the same name, refers to this app as “Waze for Dogs”. Well, it’s a dog walking companion app, that can provide you with dog-friendly routes, get live alerts to keep dogs safe, and stay connected with the ‘Paw Community’.
Paway app is basically Waze for dogs
That is kind of similar to what Waze offers. It offers safe driving routes, alerts on construction on the road, police sightings, and so on. Even the map itself that Paway offers is kind of reminiscent of what Waze has to offer.
Paway was first available on iOS, but the app is now available in the Play Store as well. This app will map out your neighborhood route and allow you to connect with other dog parents and their dogs.
You can even report coyote sightings via this app, and label dog-friendly restaurants. You can mark your dog’s favorite spots in the neighborhood, and so on.
The best of all, this app can help you find your dog if it gets lost. Paway can notify the community of lost dogs in real time, with a precise location. So, if you find someone’s dog, you can immediately report it.
You can add other caregivers to your account
You can add caregivers to your account. So if someone else is walking your dog, that person can get access to his account on the app. That goes for your family members, friends, etc.
Paway will provide you with the distance, duration, route, and time you’ve spent on a walk. You can even mark the time your dog peed or pooped on the way, and where he did it. Everything will be marked on the map.
This is a great app for dog sitters as well. You can report everything to dog parents via this app, without a problem. There are a lot of tools available here that we didn’t mention. Try out Paway if you’re interested, it’s free.
