One of the latest Android smartphones to hit the market in the US will be the Axon 30 Ultra from ZTE, and you can pick it up later this month which is when ZTE plans to launch the device.

The initial launch of the Axon 30 Ultra was back on April 15, but at the time it was only available in China. This month’s launch marks the first arrival of the phone in global markets. Making it a big day for ZTE. This is a smartphone with giant display and some of the slimmest bezels you’ll see on any current smartphone.

It also comes in two different variants. Both of which are pretty reasonably priced. For a phone with a 6.67-inch display that only weighs 188 grams and is only 8mm thick, it seems enticing, doesn’t it?

Technically, you can purchase the phone on May 27. So in just a couple of short weeks. But, that’s only the time of the pre-orders. The phone won’t officially go on sale globally until June 4, about a week later.

That’s when you’ll be able to buy it and probably have it shipped out right after. There aren’t many bonuses if you pre-order, so there’s not much incentive to pay for the phone as soon as pre-orders go live. Unless you’re worried that ZTE will run out of stock quickly.

ZTE does however give out a free pair of the Livebuds True Wireless Earbuds to anyone that buys during the pre-order period. So perhaps that’s incentive enough for some consumers. And if you’re lacking a pair of true wireless earbuds, that’s not a bad deal.

ZTE is selling this device in two different models. One that comes with 8GM of RAM and 128GB of storage for $749, which is the base model. The second model bumps up RAM to 12GB and storage to 256GB. Cost wise, the price only goes up to $849.

So for double the storage and quite a bit more RAM you’re not spending all that much more. As for other specs, the display is an AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It’s also running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. So right off the bat this makes the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra a pretty decent sounding phone for mobile gaming.

It only comes in one color, Black, and comes with a 4600mAh battery with 65W fast charge support. The phone will be sold through ZTE’s web store.
