Following the Galaxy Z Fold 3 which also leaked recently, we can now take a look at the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has leaked in even more images than its sibling, showing us its design. It appeared in eight images.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 leak shows the phone’s design in eight images
You can see the phone’s black, white, purple, and green color variants in this leak. All of them come with a black-colored strip at the top, which includes the phone’s rear cameras, and a secondary (cover) display.
That display is larger than the one on the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G, by the way. There are two cameras placed on the back, and they are vertically aligned, and placed in the top-left corner. An LED flash is visible right below them.
A Type-C USB port is also visible in the provided images, and so is the phone’s hinge. This leak also confirms that Samsung will use the Gorilla Glass Victus in the build here, for the back of the device.
One of the images is showing a text message on the cover display, and it’s easily visible. The image right after it will show you the music player being active on that very same display.
The main display is not shown here, we don’t know if an under-display camera will be included
We don’t get to see the phone’s main display, unfortunately. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have an under-display camera in its main display, so we’re hoping the same will happen with the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Nothing has been mentioned in this leak, however.
This two-tone design on the back is reminiscent of some Pixel phones that Google released in the past. It looks quite nice, and many would argue better than some unofficial images suggested.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be the third smartphone in the series. The Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G both launched last year. It seems like Samsung will skip over the Galaxy Z Flip 2 name altogether.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to launch in July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3. We still don’t know when exactly, though, the information is based on rumors.
