We all know Samsung Galaxy S21 is the flagship camera from the company. Well, some of the Galaxy S21 camera features are now rolling over to the mid-range Galaxy A52 smartphone via a new camera update.
According to a new report by TizenHelp, the successor to the popular Galaxy A51, i.e. the Galaxy A52, is now getting a bunch of enhanced Samsung Galaxy S21 camera features and improvements.
Talking about the update, it is apparently live for the audience in Indonesia. The availability of the update in other regions has not been reported yet. However, we believe it is just a matter of a couple of days before the update reaches more regions.
The new Galaxy A52 camera update arrives with firmware version A525FXXU1AUD2. It weighs around 415MB in size. So, we would advise the owners of Galaxy A52 in Indonesia to download this update over a stable Wi-Fi network.
It also bumps the security patch level to April 1, 2021. For more information about the update and to have a glance over the official changelog, you can head over to the official Samsung Galaxy A52 update page.
Galaxy A52 gets three effects in Portrait mode with the new update
The new Galaxy A52 camera update brings three new Portrait mode effects to the smartphone. Notably, users can now use high-key mono, low-key mono, and backdrop effect.
These effects are quite stunning when used with Galaxy S21, and it will be interesting to use on the Galaxy A52. Basically, these portrait mode effects let you change the background color to black, white, or the one which has selected by the camera app.
The changelog also mentions that the Galaxy A52 camera update improves the overall Camera performance of the phone. The stability of the touchscreen and the security of the Galaxy A52 device are also improved with the new update.
Samsung started rolling out this new update on April 24 for Galaxy A52 units with model number SM-A525F via OTA in batches. Meaning that it will be gradually available for all users in Indonesia.
If you are lucky, then you should have received an update notification on your phone. However, if you have not picked up the update, then the good thing is you can also manually check for the update on your Galaxy A52.
To manually check for the update, you need to go to Settings. Then tap on System updates. Finally, tap the Download and install option.
If a new update is available for your device, then the updater will detect the update and notify you. Simply, you can tap on the update notification to download the update.
