Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S20 FE 4G with the Snapdragon 865 is coming. The company did not do this on purpose, though, but some evidence surfaced on Samsung’s Swedish website.

The Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon 865 is coming, Samsung confirms

The Samsung SM-G780G surfaced with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Only that variant got listed, but the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is also expected to arrive.

Now, both 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy S20 FE are already available. The thing is, the 4G variant comes with the Exynos 990 SoC, there is no Snapdragon 865 model available. Well, it will be soon.

By the looks of it, this new model will be identical to the existing ones in almost every way. The only differences will lie in the 4G connectivity and Snapdragon 865 combo, plus the RAM and storage change. This model will arrive in a variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The phone will almost identical to the existing models

Other than that, the phone will be completely identical to the existing models, from both specs and design perspectives. It will have a lower price tag than its 5G counterpart, of course, at least the 6GB RAM model.

So, the phone will feature a 6.5-inch fullHD+ flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging, and 15W wireless charging.

You’ll also get a set of stereo speakers on this phone, but no audio jack. Three cameras will be placed on its back, two 12-megapixel units, and an 8-megapixel camera. A single 32-megapixel selfie camera will also be a part of the package.

Android 11 is expected to come pre-installed on this phone, while Android 10 landed on the original Galaxy S20 FE. That model is upgradable to Android 11, so we’re presuming that Samsung will ship this model with Android 11 pre-installed. The device is expected to arrive soon.
