And it won’t be back in stock until at least later this month.

The Roborock S7 was announced at CES 2021 in January, and went on sale on March 24. Only to sell out in a mere hours. The Roborock S7 completely sold out, as Amazon has it listed as “currently unavailable” and not just showing a delayed shipping time. Meaning that you can’t even buy it.

According to Roborock, it is expected to be back in stock by late April/early May. As to why it sold out so quickly? Well, Roborock wasn’t expecting the reception for its latest robot vacuum to be this good. Even though, many believe that Roborock is the best, in terms of robot vacuums, and the S7 is now the best that there is.

Consumers are apparently excited about the much improved mopping capability

With the Roborock S7, the company really worked on the mopping capability of this robot vacuum. On previous models it was okay, but most users (including myself) rarely used it. It worked, but it was nothing special really. With the Roborock S7, the company announced a few features that took the mopping functionality to the next level.

The biggest feature was the Sonic Mopping. Which allows it to agitate about 3,000 times per minute. This allows the Roborock S7 to get up those dried on messes on the floor, and make it spotless. Deep Cleaning mode was also added, making it easier to run over the same area, or through the same room two or three times.

The other big feature is VibraRise. On the surface, it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it is. Essentially with VibraRise, the S7 will lift the mop off of the floor and also turn off the water. Allowing the S7 to continue cleaning your home without getting the carpet wet. So it can clean your entire home without having the user remove the mopping pad to clean the carpeted rooms of the home.

Hopefully the Roborock S7 will be back in stock soon, as it is one of the best robot vacuums on the market. In the meantime, you can read our review on the S7 here.
