Huawei P50 Pro concept

The Huawei P50 Pro concept has appeared on YouTube, courtesy of Concept Creator and Letsgodigital. This YouTube channel has been creating smartphone concepts for quite some time now, and this is its latest creation.

Having said that, this concept is based on leaked renders provided by @OnLeaks. Therefore, it’s almost certainly really close to the actual look of the phone. Those camera sensors on the back seem to be a bit different compared to what @OnLeaks showed, though.

The Huawei P50 Pro concept features a curved display, and a centered display camera hole

The creator of this video only wanted to give us a closer look at the phone, before it launches. As you can see, this Huawei P50 Pro sports a curved display, a centered display camera hole, and a huge camera setup on the back.

The egg-shaped camera bump hosts three camera sensors in this design. One of those sensors is considerably larger than the other two. Leica branding is also visible on the back, along with an LED flash.

The camera housing on the back does protrude quite a bit, and it’s undeniable due to its size. The company’s branding is imprinted on the back of the device as well.

The bezels on this handset are almost non-existent, while the top and bottom of the phone are flat, with chamfered edges. This is a design language that Huawei used in the past. This phone is envisioned as a combination of glass and metal, by the way.

The Huawei P50 Pro leaks did not share much when it comes to the phone’s specs. What was mentioned, however, is that the device will likely ship with HarmonyOS, Huawei’s new operating system.

This handset is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display, and the Kirin 9000 SoC

It was also mentioned that the phone will include a 6.6-inch display, and be fueled by the Kirin 9000 SoC. That processor is the latest and greatest Huawei has to offer in the SoC department.

It is still unknown when will the Huawei P50 series arrive. Some rumors indicate that the launch has been postponed until mid-2021. The Huawei P40 series, in comparison, arrived at the end of March, so, over a year ago at this point.
