Android 11 is landing on the OnePlus 7 and 7T series yet again, the company re-released it, in a way. Android 11 started rolling out to the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, and 7T Pro last month. The thing is, there were some notable bugs in that update, so OnePlus decided to re-release it.
Android 11 has been re-released for the OnePlus 7 & 7T series phones, with several new features
This new build is referred to as OxygenOS 126.96.36.199, and it has almost the same changelog as the previous build. That being said, you will find a ton of Android 11 features inside it.
What is different? Well, this update brings a new security patch to the device, an Android security patches for March. The previous build delivered the Android security patches for February.
In addition to that, OnePlus also included some new camera features in this update. You can now fire up recording quickly by holding the shutter button. The shutter button slide gesture to zoom in or out in quick recording is also available. On top of that, the playback display feature has been added in time-lapse mode.
All the major Android 11 features from Google are included
Other than that, everything else is the same. You’re getting OnePlus’ new take on Android, with OxygenOS 11 that is more one-hand friendly. All the major Android 11 features that Google presented, updated OnePlus apps, and so on.
This update is rolling out to all four smartphones as we speak. Do note that it’s a staged update, so it may take a couple of days to arrive to your phone. OnePlus is rolling these updates randomly to all unlocked models, across the globe.
The OnePlus 7, and 7T series devices are far from being the newest in the company’s lineup, and the users had to wait for Android 11 for quite some time. It’s finally here, though, and this update is considerably more polished than the previous one, it seems.
