Though (some) desktop gaming PC owners have been enjoying the NVIDIA 30 series GPUs since last Fall, gaming laptops are just now entering the space, and Origin PC is one of the latest brands to announce that it will have laptops on offer with these GPUs.
In fact Origin is already selling the laptops that carry these cards. Putting it a few steps ahead of some of the other brands. That being said, the laptops have an estimated ship date of 19-21 business days. So they will likely ship around the same time as Razer’s new Blade models. Which is around the first week of March.
Origin NVIDIA 30 series laptops come with up to an RTX 3080 in the Max-Q design
If you don’t mind the wait, the new 30 series gaming laptops from Origin will offer a few different configurations.
There are four different laptops that are getting the new GPUs. Including the EVO-15S, EVO-17S, NT-15, and NT-17. Each laptop also has the option of going with either the NVIDIA RTX 3070 or the RTX 3080.
Then there are varying options for the type of display. With options for 300Hz panels, 144Hz panels, and 4K resolution OLED displays. No matter what options you choose the laptop will come with the Max-Q design. So they’ll be fairly thin and lightweight.
The thin and light design with all that power though is costly. With laptop prices starting at over $2,000. Prices go up from there based on how you configure the rest of the laptop.
For example, the NT-17 can go as high as $4,177 if you configure it with all the most expensive options. And that’s just the laptop without any extra services or add-on accessories.
Still, if you’ve got the money to spend and you’re looking for an extremely beefy laptop in terms of performance, Origin has you covered.
Personalize your laptop with custom etchings
What sets Origin apart from the competition is the amount of customization freedom you have.
Most brands are selling laptops with a few select color options. Origin though gives you a ton of options to work with. You can select the standard Black if you like things more basic.
But if you dare to venture forth into the more exciting, you can choose from a selection of metallic colors, HD UV printing designs, or even a customized laser etching.
