Harman Kardon has introduced the Onyx Studio 7 at CES 2021. This is an upgrade to the award-winning Onyx series, which has produced some really interesting looking speakers for the Harman Kardon brand.

This latest Bluetooth speaker features superior stereo performance sound and an artful industrial design.

Internally, the Onyx Studio 7 comes with two 25mm dual tweeters for true stereo sound. That is combined with a powerful bass and a built-in Li-On rechargeable battery. Which you can expect to get around eight hours of playtime from.

Customers can also pair two of these together, for wireless Dual Sound. Harman Kardon included a carrying handle on the Onyx Studio 7, making it easy to move around and carry from place to place.

According to Harman Kardon, it is crafted from premium materials, and it has a sleek, die-cast anodized aluminum carrying handle. The Onyx Studio 7 will come in a variety of color options too.

“The Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 is a modernized addition to our award-winning collection,” said Rodney Chan, VP and GM for Harman Home Audio. “It sounds as great as it looks, and we’re excited to add this one to the popular Onyx collection.”

Pricing and availability

The Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 is going to be available in April 2021 for $299.95. It will be sold on Harman Kardon’s website as well as retail locations, surprisingly including T-Mobile stores in the US.

Harman Kardon will offer it in three colors – Charcoal Black, Marine Blue and Winter Gray. Giving it a nice modern look.

This is going to be a really interesting looking speaker to add to your home setup. Most will likely add it to their office, despite the fact that this is not a “smart” speaker, and does not support Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa or Siri in any way or form. It’s simply a Bluetooth speaker.
