The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is set to be announced in January, a full month earlier than usual. And the rumor mill is really starting to heat up here. Now, we're even seeing the official teasers for all three Galaxy S21 models, courtesy of Android Police.
You can see all three teasers for the Galaxy S21 series in the gallery below. Showing two of the different colors that will be available on the Galaxy S21 series this year. The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are shown in a phantom violet color, which looks stunning. With a purple-ish color on the back, and the camera module sporting a bronze or gold-like color. Which is a nice contrast. And then a black color – that wasn't named – for the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Galaxy S21 & S21+ will be very similar
As was the case with the Galaxy S20 and S20+ earlier this year, the Galaxy S21 and S21+ will be very similar. Both with a flag display on the front. Along with a hole-punch camera and pretty small bezels. They boast triple cameras, with 12-megapixel main sensors, 12-megapixel ultra-wide and a 64-megapixel telephoto. And both will use a glasstic back. Which is a plastic back that is made to look like glass.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra is the true top-of-the-line phone from Samsung for 2021. With a curved screen, along with a quad-camera setup. Which boasts a 10-megapixel 10x super-telephoto zoom, 108-megapixel main sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide and a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera. Samsung is also keeping the laser autofocus system on this one.
The new Galaxy S21 series is set to be announced at an Unpacked event set for January 14. It's likely that Samsung will tease the announcement at CES a week earlier. Pre-orders are said to start on January 14, with the launch date being January 29. Which is much earlier than the Galaxy S20 and previous Galaxy S devices launched in previous years.
