This is a rumor that has been going around for a long time, and it seems like the initial info was accurate. A well-known tipster has just reported that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen.

This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. In his tweet, he said that he’s 100-percent sure that the information is accurate. Considering his track record, this is basically a confirmation.

Now, there’s a catch, though. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will not ship with the S Pen. It will also not include a slot inside the phone where you can store the S Pen, as Max Jambor reports.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen, but won't ship with one

The device will only have support for the S Pen, but you’ll have to carry it on the side. Well, if you decide to purchase it. The S Pen will be sold separately, and we still don’t know how much will it cost.

Samsung may sell the two as part of some sort of a bundle in some regions, though. The Galaxy S21 Ultra should have the same support for the S Pen as the Galaxy Note series does, though.

Considering that the ‘Ultra’ model was highlighted by the source, and in previous rumors, that probably means that the Galaxy S21 and S21+ won’t offer support for Samsung’s stylus.

If this ends up happening, those rumors regarding the Galaxy Note demise may turn out to be true. Samsung is rumored to be planning to kill the Galaxy Note series altogether. The company is allegedly planning for the Galaxy Z Fold series to replace it.

Well, if the Galaxy S21 Ultra ends up sporting Samsung's stylus next year, those rumors could become even louder. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to include the S Pen next year.

If we had to guess, we’d say that the Galaxy Note 21 series will make an appearance next year. That doesn’t mean that Samsung is not planning to stop manufacturing those phones in 2022, or at some point in the future.

That would be a huge blow for the Galaxy Note consumers, as Samsung is selling quite a lot of those devices every year. Truth be said, the company’s Galaxy Note 21 sales weren’t the best this year, though.
