Samsung debuted the Galaxy S20 FE in September for $699.99. To date, it has been available only in one storage configuration. The company has now announced a new variant which comes with bumped up storage. While the Galaxy S20 FE was launched initially with 128GB of internal storage, the newly announced variant comes packed with 256GB storage.

The increase also marks up the price by $70. The Galaxy S20 FE with 256GB storage will retail for $769.99. It comes only in one color and will be available starting November 6. The company might launch the 256GB storage variant in more color options in the coming weeks too.

For selfies, the Galaxy S20 FE offers a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The device runs on Android 10-based One UI 2.5 out of the box. Unlike the other flagship Galaxy smartphones launched in 2020, Samsung is yet to include the S20 Fan Edition in the One UI 3.0 beta program.

The device is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. Though it comes with stereo speakers tuned by AKG for a superior audio experience, there is no 3.5mm audio jack. There is a USB Type-C port for both charging and connecting wired headsets though.

The Galaxy S20 FE packs in a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W wired fast charging and Qi wireless fast charging. Furthermore, it can also be used for charging other Qi-enabled devices. As seen with the Galaxy Note 20, the Galaxy S20 FE also comes with a polycarbonate back. However, it looks much more premium than other affordable plastic back smartphones.
