OnePlus Launches Power Bank & Neckband Earphones, But Not For Everyone

OnePlus Power Bank Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition

During its OnePlus 8T launch event, OnePlus announced a range of accessories including the OnePlus Power Bank, OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition earphones, and OnePlus Buds Z TWS earbuds. As the title suggests, the OnePlus Power Bank and Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition earphones won't be coming to western markets.

Both these accessories cost under $30 and limited to the Indian market for now. The new OnePlus Power Bank is the company's second attempt in the power bank market. The first-ever power bank from OnePlus, also called OnePlus Power Bank, was announced in 2014 to celebrate its first anniversary.

The new Power Bank also comes with the same 10,000mAh capacity. Interestingly, it lacks the support for OnePlus's proprietary Warp Charge technology. It comes with a maximum of 18W output and can simultaneously charge two devices using the two USB Type-A port.

Though there is an additional USB Type-C port, it only serves as an input port for charging the power bank. It weighs 225 grams and comes in Black and Green color options. The company also claims that it has multiple built-in safeguards, including 12 layers of circuit protection.

It enters into low current mode by double-clicking the power button to charge devices like wireless headphones and earbuds. OnePlus will provide a 2-in-1 charging cable with both Micro-USB and USB Type-C interfaces.

The 10,000mAh OnePlus Power Bank costs just INR 1,299 (approx. $18) and will be available for early access on the OnePlus website and OnePlus Store app starting October 15. Coming to the Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition, it is a slightly tweaked version of the original Bullets Wireless Z launched earlier this year.

While it uses the same 9.2mm drivers, it is said to be re-engineered for enhanced bass and bass performance. It comes with 17 hours of battery life, which is 3 hours less than the previously launched Bullets Wireless Z. However, the company has improved the low latency mode by reducing the latency to 100ms.

Apart from these changes, all the other features remain the same. The Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition earphones come with IP55 certification for sweat and water-resistance. It also supports fast charging, which gives 10 hours of power with just 10 minutes of charging.

The new OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition comes in Reverb Red and Bass Blue color options. It comes with a price tag of INR 1999 (approx. $27) and will be available exclusively in India starting October 15. Meanwhile, OnePlus will make the $45.99 OnePlus Buds Z TWS earbuds available across various markets, including the US and Europe.
