OnePlus has confirmed that you can fast-charge various other accessories using the OnePlus 8T charger. During our talk with the OnePlus’ representative, he confirmed this, while taking the Nintendo Switch as an example.

Most of you know that the Nintendo Switch does not offer such fast charging, at least not one that is nearly as fast as the one on the OnePlus 8T. For those of you who are out of the look, the phone supports 65W fast charging (with a Type-C to Type-C cable).

That being said, the representative said that the adapter will hold back, and charge at the required speed. This is great to hear, especially considering it’s official news. This way, you don’t need to carry a ton of chargers with you.

OnePlus uses proprietary tech for its Warp Charging, so people are afraid to use it with other products. Well, it seems like that is safe to do, at least when it comes to the OnePlus 8T charger.

This charging brick also comes with a Type-C to Type-C cable, by the way. The charging brick itself is really powerful when combined with the OnePlus 8T, as it can charge up that huge 4,500mAh battery in no time.

The OnePlus 8T can be fully charged (0-100%) in only 39 minutes

That charger can get it from 0 to 58-percent in only 15 minutes. It takes it 39 minutes to charge it all the way from 0-percent to 100-percent, which is faster than the vast majority of other chargers in the market. If you’d like to know more about that, click here.

The OnePlus 8T, as most of you know, got announced today. We already have a ton of information available on the site, in case you’re interested.

The device is exactly what we expected. It is made out of metal and glass, while it delivers a flat 120Hz display, 8GB / 12GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 865 processor, and five cameras.

All in all, this phone has a lot to offer, and the company managed to keep its price tag rather low… considering everything. The phone comes in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants in Europe, while it is available in a 12GB RAM model only in the US. It starts at €599 in Europe, and $749 in the US.
