LG Electronics is bringing a new mid-ranger dubbed the LG K92 5G to the US, the company has announced. This phone brings quite a few high-demand features with it. Not least of all an edge-to-edge 6.7-inch FullVision display with a Full HD+ resolution.
LG has also packed its new gadget with some fairly substantial camera hardware in its bid to stand out from the increasingly competitive mid-range. That’s led by a 64-megapixel standard lens, just for starters. Behind that, LG includes three other sensors in a square-shaped quad-camera setup. Those are a 5-megapixel Ultra Wide-Angle lens, 2-megapixel Macro lens, and a dedicated 2-megapixel depth sensor for bokeh and more.
The front camera, conversely, is a 16-megapixel snapper.
What’s under the hood and what set’s LG K92 5G apart?
Setting aside those specs, LG engineered its K92 5G on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 5G Mobile Platform. So it’s got plenty of power to spare and supports 5G for faster speeds when it comes to networking and data too. Behind that, it’s tucked 6GB RAM and 128GB storage up to 2TB via microSD card.
A 4,000mAh battery powers that package complete with charging ordinarily reserved for flagship Android phones via Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0.
Stereo speakers built into the handset are driven by a 3D Sound Engine too. So this phone should deliver audio that’s more immersive and rich across the board.

Pricing and availability
Now, those specifications are already going to be a high-value offering from LG K92 5G. But the inclusion of 5G pushes things that much further. Especially since, at $359, this is going to be among the most affordable — if not the most affordable — 5G handsets on the market. Or at least for AT&T, Cricket Wireless, and US Cellular customers.
In terms of pricing, Cricket will be selling the LG K92 5G for $359.99. That’s with 5G access via the company’s $60 unlimited plan. AT&T will start pricing at $394.99 but will offer the gadget for free with an eligible trade-in. Or buyers can pay just $5 per month on Unlimited Your Way plans. That’s starting from November 6 for either carrier in stores or online.
The MSRP is set at $359, according to LG, so similar pricing can be expected when this phone arrives on US Cellular ‘shortly’.
