The OnePlus 8T is set to be the third flagship smartphone the company has released in 2020. Following behind the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro earlier this year. According to the many leaks and rumors we have seen, the OnePlus 8T is going to be the most powerful smartphone the company has ever released.

OnePlus 8T will sport the Snapdragon 865+

Rumors that have hit the internet show that the OnePlus 8T is going to be running on the Snapdragon 865+ chipset. That is the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, and just a hair better than the Snapdragon 865 chipset in the OnePlus 8 series.

OnePlus 8T will have other specs that you’d expect, like 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage on-board.

It will also sport the same sized display as the OnePlus 8, at 6.55-inches. It will have one major upgrade over the OnePlus 8 though, and that is the refresh rate. It’ll be a 120Hz display, instead of the 90Hz display on the OnePlus 8.

OnePlus is really touting the 65W charging speed on the 8T, which is going to give you a day's worth of power in only 15 minutes. That's half as long as previous OnePlus smartphones.

Pre-orders are likely to open on October 14

OnePlus is supposedly going to be opening pre-orders for the 8T on October 14. However, at this time we don’t know when the phone will be released.

OnePlus is typically pretty quick with getting their phones out the door, so we could see it in customers' hands before the end of October.
