As per the latest development, OnePlus has released its Notes app with the OxygenOS 11 design elements on the Google Play Store. Notably, it is in early access mode.

OnePlus has always been at the forefront when it comes to delivering updates for its phones. Be it security patches or firmware updates, the company has given a tough competition to the likes of Samsung, etc.

In fact, OnePlus was the only OEM, apart from Google, to provide 3 years of a software update for its devices. Later this year, Samsung also joined the bandwagon.

Moreover, with Android 11 OxygenOS 11, OnePlus took the Samsung route. Basically, OnePlus’s latest edition of OxygenOS 11 which is based on Android 11 seems like a copy of Samsung’s One UI.

Well, One UI was developed to provide better one-hand usability. And OnePlus also wants to bring that experience to its users. Which is the reason the company is ditching the stock-Android UI in the upcoming OxygenOS 11.

Before passing out judgment, we will have to wait and see how the OxygenOS 11 UI performs on the devices. So, that is a matter of some other discussion.

OnePlus Notes app is optimized for large-screen devices with OxygenOS 11 elements

As mentioned, the OnePlus Notes app which is available in the Play Store brings one-hand use optimization. The app has a revamped design, and it feels more OxygenOS 11-ish.

The user interface, buttons, and search menu have been placed for easier access with one hand. Besides, you can view the notes can as a list or as cards in the main interface of the OnePlus Notes app.

There is a bright yellow color new notes button at the right hand lower corner. There are other features like insert checklist, bullet points, and image.

Additionally, the camera button is now placed right above the keyboard. Basically, the whole app has been optimized for Android 11 OxygenOS 11.

Note that this is the same version of the OnePlus Notes app which came with the Android 11 OxygenOS 11 Open Beta for OnePlus 8 series devices.

If you have an OnePlus smartphone and you wish to enjoy the latest features on your Notes app, then you can grab the new app from the Play Store.

However, keep one thing in mind that it is an early access version. Therefore, you might encounter a few bugs or glitches while using the app.

To avoid that, it is better to wait for the official Android 11 OxygenOS 11 update to arrive on your phone. Looking at the past track record of OnePlus, the Android 11 update will soon be available for your device.
